Hello Ladies,

I absolutely love contouring and if you love the art of contouring, you couldn’t stop it once you start doing it.. Isn’t it? Recently, I learnt this new concept of baking and I see how yellow powders play a critical role in baking. For someone who doesn’t know what is Baking? Its basically a method to brighten your under eyes and helps you set your foundation making it look flawless. There are many yellow powders in the market and I know few famous ones are BEN NYE LOOSE POWDER, MAKE UP REVOLUTION LOOSE POWDER. There are also some translucent powders or no color powders like RCMA loose powder etc. Now as you can see all these brands are imported brands and of course a bit on the pricier side. I visited the Beautiful store in Mumbai last month and it was a very casual, tiny haul where I bought 2 Meilin lipsticks and a yellow loose powder named TL4 from Miss Claire. This loose powder caught my eye and instantly reminded me of Kryolan loose powders. Also it retailed only Rs.300 so I thought why not give this a try before getting the expensive ones.

Product Description- This is an ultra-fine translucent sublimely silky powder which helps conceal flaws, minimize pore size and lays a foundation for make-up application over cream and liquid make up. It helps to set it in place. It provides a sheer, micro and matte finish for that subtly dusky look. It is used for both professional and daily make up.

Price- Rs. 300 (You can buy it online on Amazon and Habbana)

Packaging- This loose powder comes in a round jar with a mirror like cover on the top. Its easy to do your makeup with the mirror cover packaging. The jar is sturdy yet classy. The packaging is such that you can easily carry it while travelling. It comes with a good quality white puff. There is just right amount of holes in the plastic jar which gives out the right amount of powder. The color of the powder is easily seen due to translucent packaging and the shade name and number is mentioned behind the jar.

My Experience with Miss Claire Blooming Face/Loose Powder-

The powder is yellow in color and it instantly add a fresh glow on your face. This loose powder is finely milled and has no fragrance whatsoever which might be a plus for many sensitive souls. The powder goes easy on the skin and doesn’t look patchy or uneven. If your face is well moisturised you can simply dab some of the powder on your face to get some coverage. I am quite surprised with the glow it gives to my yellow skintone. I love using it both while highlighting and as a plain loose powder. I wasn’t expecting much from this product really. But I think I will stock up this product once it gets over but a little goes a long way. So It will take a lot of time to finish it. The face powder lasts upto 4-5hrs without any touch ups. It gives sheer to buidable coverage. Coming to Baking, the main reason why I purchased it. This worked really well in setting my makeup and didn’t budge for quite a long time. I don’t think I need to buy an expensive one, now that I own this. If you are looking out for a budget friendly loose powder, I would highly suggest you to try Miss Claire Blooming Face Powder TL4.

Recommendation-

This is an affordable yellow loose powder which will be perfect for baking and setting. I highly recommend you buy this loose powder. Availability is the only con about this product. If you get your hands on this, you might just find a replacement to your expensive banana loose powder. I am using this every single day and love the subtle glow that comes with it.
