Hello Beautiful,

It’s my first post in this brand New year. First of all, I want to wish everyone a very Happy New year. May the New Year bring you the plot twist that you have been waiting for. So much have changed over the years including my skincare, haircare and makeup routine. I no longer stick to a single product and always keep on experimenting with new products. Well, that’s a life of a beauty blogger. Recently, I was sent some products from Olivia Cosmetics. I remember when I was in college my first foundation stick came from the house of Olivia. For all those who are not familiar with the brand, it’s an affordable Indian herbal beauty brand that has some amazing skincare and makeup range at pocket friendly price. I received 4 products out of which two are my cult favourites and old best friend and the rest of the two are new found love. So let’s find out what I feel about the products.

1. Olivia Golden Glow Facewash for Radiant Skin-

This facewash is great for someone who is looking forward for a radiant glowing skin during festive season.  It is new from their collection and it has properties of Gold, Chandan and Turmeric which provides deep cleansing and clears skin pores.  This facewash is meant for all skintype and lathers really well. It gives a slight tingling sensation while massaging. There is nothing that I don’t like about this product.   It is actually very effective in removing dullness and making it soft smooth and healthy.

Price- Rs. 60 for 60ml.

2. Olivia Aloe vera Cleansing milk-

This cleansing milk has been there in the market for a long time. This was my go to product for face cleansing.  It not only removes all traces of face makeup but also make your skin glowy and healthy after the wash.  I will not recommend you to remove your eyemakeup using this as it may irritate your eyes. You may want to use an oil based makeup remover for eyemakeup. However, it’s best for removing dirt and other impurities from your skin. I absolutely love the fragrance of this product. There is so much quantity for the price. One bottle will easily last 1 month.  This is an absolute must have for deep cleansing.

Price- Rs. 60 for 100ml.

3. Olivia Powder Compact Natural Beige 02-

Olivia cosmetics make some of the best base makeup products. Trust me with this, I grew using Olivia products. Those were the days when we were completely dependent on pocket money to survive our days. My love for makeup started in my early days of college; I was hooked on the panstick and powder compact for regular use. I wonder why I stopped using this powder compact.  It gives the right amount of coverage inspite of being just a pressed powder. You can simply apply a moisturiser and dab this pressed powder if you are looking for light to medium coverage. It didn’t ever break me out.  This compact powder gives matte coverage which is such a plus for oily skin beauties.  I can easily compare it with Loreal Magique pressed powder which is my HG powder compact.  Dry skin beauties may want to moisturise your skin very well before using this compact powder.

Price-  Rs. 100 for 15gms

4. Olivia Instant Waterproof Makeup Stick with SPF 12-

This makeup stick is a boon for someone who is looking for a full coverage foundation. If you ask me KRYOLAN OR OLIVIA Makeup stick? I will gladly choose Olivia. Its because this makeup stick doesn’t feel heavy on application and made up like Kryolan pan stick. With Kryolan you can actually see that you have used a heavy coverage foundation but this looks extremely natural.  It has inbuilt moisturisers which makes your skin look healthy. Since it has medium to heavy coverage it perfectly conceals under eye circles and imperfections of your skin. It is truly waterproof and sweatproof. This was my cult favourite during my college days. If you are looking for a budget friendly full coverage foundation cum concealer, this should be your best bet. This didn’t break me out and it also provides UV protection. However, I suggest doing a patch test as one of my friend claimed that it did break her out.  It differs as per your skintype.

Price- Rs. 120 for 15gms.

Overall, I absolutely loved all the four products, you need to try it to know how good these products are even though its pocket friendly. The products are easily available on stores and online. Have you tried any of the Olivia products? What’s your take on them?
