Hello lovelies,

Sally Hansen Moisturizing Polish Remover For Dry Brittle Nails Review

It’s time for another review. I have done a lot of makeup posts and product reviews. But this is my first nailcare product on the blog. I must admit that I am biased towards my face and tend to neglect my hands and legs often especially my nails. Over a period of time, they have become dry, brittle and chip off easily. I always had long and strong nails but these days they hardly remain long for a longtime. I realised that Acetone has taking a toll on my nails and they have become weak and lifeless. So I started looking out for options that’s when Sally Hansen Moisturizing Polish Remover for Dry Brittle Nails caught my attention. People left good ratings and reviews on this product on Nykaa so I thought I’ll give this a try and I am happy that I switched.

Packaging- It’s quite a big plastic bottle for a nail polish remover. The mint green and orange packaging looks very nice. This is a transparent bottle so you can see how much product is left inside. The mouth of the bottle is too big to pour out the liquid. If you open the first time you will end up pouring a lot. It’s quite possible that it may spill out while travelling. So this is definitely not travel friendly.

My Experience with Sally Hansen Moisturizing Polish Remover For Dry Brittle Nails-

The moment you open the bottle the first thing you will notice is the heavenly fragrance of this product. Unlike Acetone, this nail polish remover has a very charming fragrance that actually lasts longer than any of my body mists. No jokes, it has no chemical smell like our old friend (Acetone). Secondly, you just need to pour it once in the cotton ball and both your hands are sorted. You will not need to add the liquid to the cotton ball 2-3 times to remove your nail polish. It removes even the most stubborn glittery nail polish effectively. I am using this nail polish remover from quite a long time and I see a healthy difference on my nails. They look smooth, healthy and happy. There is no dryness or roughness and the nails have become pretty strong comparatively. Acetone tends to burn my fingers on the edges but I haven’t had any such experience with this nail polish remover. This product is very mild and gentle on my hands. Some may think it is pricey but its absolute value for money considering that one bottle will easily last you atleast 2 years. It just lost points on the unfriendly packaging bit. Like I said the open mouth can led to product wastage and the bottle is also not travel friendly. Apart from that, I have no complains. It is an awesome nail polish remover and I am definitely going to repurchase it again and again.

Pro tip- Take a small jar and put a sponge according to the jar size and add this nail polish remover. Dip your nails in the sponge until the nail polish comes off completely. Take this jar everytime you travel and this is how we make things Travel Friendly. 😀
