It’s the onset of monsoon and onset of sickness for me. I have never been so sick in my whole life. I don’t know what’s wrong with my health. Its been a week and more and I had fever, cold, headache, vomiting and it goes on. Blame it on the weather. Anyway, lets talk something nice. So the nice factor here is that I went for the Organic Harvest store launch event on Saturday. It was a lovely event where we were asked to wear accesories and there was a hair-stylist who did my hair. The whole ambience gave a very “alowha” feel. I met a few bloggers and we clicked lots of pictures. They S.A briefed me about the products and new launches. Finally, I left with my goodie bag. I have heard a lot about their products especially these cute little EOS lipbalm inspired from Organic Harvest. I am so happy Organic Harvest has come out with their version of lipbalm. Some of the stuff I received is the Anti tan Scrub, Anti Tan mask and the Sunscreen lotion. I am yet to try out the others. However, I started using the lipbalm from the day I got them. I have already made up my mind on the lipbalm and here is what I think…
The lip balm with the goodness of Shea butter that locks moisture and prevent your lips from drying out.
Price – Rs. 149 (introductory offer) for 10g. 0.35oz
Certified Organic lanolin, Shea butter, BHT and food grade strawberry flavor. No Color Added-Color of the product may change due to the use of Organic and Natural ingredients.
You can apply it by closing your lips together like you are going to kiss something, or simply smile with your lips closed, and apply the dome to both of your lips at the same time.
Like I mentioned, it looks exactly like EOS lipbalm. This is yellow in color and it comes in an egg-shaped form with branding on the top. The packaging is pretty cute and unusual. It is very light-weight and handy. You can easily put it in your handbag and apply on the go. It smells really nice. How I wish it to be edible!
My Experience with Organic Harvest Shea Lip Repair Lip Balm-
I started using the product from the time I received it. I usually apply lipbalms in the night and exfoliate my lips in the morning. That way it gives me lipstick ready lips in the morning. The formula of this lipbalm is matte and not glossy that I totally adore. I was really done and dusted with glossy lipbalms. It is a clear lipbalm without any tint. I was not looking for a tinted one anyway. It works extremely well on my chapped lips and helps them to stay smooth. This lipbalm stayed around 4-5hrs after which you may like to re-apply. My lips are always dry and I can never think of applying lipstick without exfoliating. This lipbalm keeps my lips nourished and keeps me from the hassle of exfoliating. It has a yummy fragrance and doesn’t give a waxy feeling. The fact that is made of natural ingredients makes this a steal. It is free from Paraben, mineral oil, Paba and Animal Ingredients. The SA told me that it helps in reducing darkness of your lips. I didn’t really believe her as there is no SPF. But now that I am using it I have seen slight difference in my lipcolor. The dark pigmentation has faded a bit and my lips look much healthier. Honestly, I have used EOS lipbalm and didn’t like it much. But I end up liking Organic Harvest Shea Lip Repair much more than I originally planned.
